Bio"MY LABYRINTH" is the title of my journal. It has many meanings; however, it really signifies the way the brain looks anatomically -- and how our thoughts can take us from one subject to the next.
My name is Julia and I am a semi-retired Librarian. I am a theology/history geek. I am also on the left side of center, politically, even though I was a middle of the road conservative when I was young.
Religiously, I am a Hellenic/Greek polytheist. My practice is flavoured more on the reconstructionist model with a dose of "modern" innovation. I am a member of Hellenion and Neokori. In my area on Connecticut, I have founded a Proto-Demos of Hellenion dedicated to the North Atlantic Nereids (Proto-Demos ton Boreias Atlantikas Nereidon, Hellenion). I also have two on-line Thiasoi on Yahoo Groups, ThiasosAthena and ThiasosHeraTeleia, and the ShrineOfAthenaErgane, which is dedicated to the creation of prayer shawls/lap robes; hats, mittens and scarves for needy children; and premie and chemo hats.
